April & May with Friends all day !

This time around I knew there wouldn't be BEER TENTS by the pool and the activities wouldn't be drinking contests, BUT having some of your friends join you in Jibacoa for some good times.....Priceless!!...hahaha

Let's start this off with thanking Louie, Adam, Dave and Damien. Good friends are the best to party with.

Alright, now onto the TENNIS. We did the same like always.....promoted the TENNIS TOURNAMENT everyday !!. We had another great turn-out and the weather was perfect. I brought down "JIBACOA MEDALS" and gave them out to the tennis winners. Both weeks were awesome, and everyone walked away with a smile.

You'll notice that one of the pictures I posted looks like a Birthday Party. This was the first time we celebrated KENIA's Birthday at the Resort. I was able to get a cake from the chef, and prepare a surprise for Kenia (Jibacoa Assistant Tennis Pro). We set it all up at the Disco, and had kenia meet us there. This was a HUGE surprise and the entire staff had a good laugh......and some cake !!

Another Special moment was seeing Eric's little girl. I have posted a cute picture of them both. Eric is a former Jibacoa staff member.

One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back here is because of the STAFF and MANAGEMENT.

OCTOBER FEST.....Cuban Style !!

Heading back to Cuba in October meant one thing......OCTOBER FEST or what some of the tourist called in "DRINK FEST".

If you want to party 24/7, then going to Jibacoa during October Fest is the place !!!. The place was PACKED (450+), and it wasn't quiet.

Ok, lets start with the TENNIS. There were lots of tennis players in the 2 weeks I was teaching. I even had beginners give it a try. The "Tennis Tournament Day" was on Thursday and we had 15+ players. We promoted the event from Monday to Wednesday, so it was great to see all those people showing up.

Now, lets talk about "OKTOBER FEST"....that's what it reads on our staff t-shirts. This is the only time of the year that JIBACOA has outdoor beer tents. The bonus of the "BEER TENTS" is that they have BOTTLED BEER & CANS....cold in ice and you don't need cups or large mugs.

The best part of OKTOBER FEST were the activities. Here were the top 3:

1) Drinking Contest (female & Male)


2) Pouring a Drink Blind Contest (Female & Male)

3) Can Pyramid Contest (Female & Male)



Oktober Fest ran from Thursday to Sunday...the last 2 weekends in October.
