Jibacoa Tennis April/May 2004

It seems I can't get sick of this place....hahaha

I'm back already, it seems like yesterday I was here in December.

This time around my father came along. It was his first trip to Cuba with me.

This was also his first visit to Jibacoa, and it wouldn't be his last.

The one thing about going to CUBA in April/May, you'll always find perfect weather.

In my past visits I can only remember 1 or 2 times it has rained, and

that only lasted 20 to 30 minutes. We got NO rain on this trip.

This was my 4th visit to Jibacoa, and I feel about 15% Cuban now...LOL.,

but sadly I still speak 2% spanish.

The management at SuperClubs Breezes Jibacoa have always treated me like family and

I have so much respect for them all.

Alright, the first week was great (like always). My father got a little burnt (rookie), but in the end he got a perfect tan. I met more people from Toronto this time around.

I believe more and more people are finding out how awesome the weather is here in April/May. The Hotel was packed !!!.

The Tennis Tournament was held on Thursday (like always) and we had a good turn out.

My Father played in the "target" contest and won first pace (no it wasn't fixed).

The only thing I "fixed" was having my father play with the band.

I set it up by getting him the same the band were wearing (see pic).

He was SHOCKED, and surprised. He spent most of dinner playing with the band, and

people thought he was "part of the band"...ha ha ha

Jibacoa is very popular with "repeats". The big reason why is.......CONSISTENT.

You will always have a few bumps in the road when you travel, but knowing you can go somewhere and just unpack and relax......is priceless.

Oh, I forgot one more thing....We were able to watch the LEAF game in the disco.....

You can take the Canadian away from Hockey, but

ya can't take the Hockey out of the Canadian.
